Lis Wiehl is an American lawyer and writer who was formerly an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. In the past she served as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. In addition, she has made legal commentaries for Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She was a regular guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She is a graduate of an undergraduate degree in Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as a US attorney. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." From 1995 until 2001, she served as a tenured law professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
