Summer glau

Firefly's stardom was due to the fact that she was a part of Whedon's new TV show, Firefly. Her character, River Tam, was one of the most complex characters that Glau did her best to manage. As Tam her character, she was enticed into government-sponsored experiments in which she was being trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam's ability to manage emotions was taken away from her. Glau was able to show off not only her acting talents, but her skills as a combat ace on Firefly. Glau's ability to fight was improved by her education to turn into an"Assassin. Summer Glau is a classically trained ballerina. She has also studied tango and Flamenco, but an injury to her foot caused her to stop dancing. Firefly ran for only one season, yet it enjoyed a huge fan base. Whedon got so passionate about the show that he returned two years after. Summer Glau, however, was still receiving top-quality work.
