He was usually picked on at school. Being the biggest Spider-Man follower, he saw him as Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. He went to several schools, including Priory Preparatory School, City of London Freemen's School, Central School of Speech and Drama as well as the University of London, from which he graduated in 2004. Acting became a passion when he decided he didn't want to study business anymore. His acting career started in 2005 when he starred on the British TV series "Sugar Rush". He plays his first lead character two years later, in "Boy A" as a troubled kid trying to restart after having spent time in jail. He was also in "The Social Network," as the main character, and later in the movie "The Marvelous Spider-Man." Being able to take on a variety of roles, it was his turn to be the principal actor in the historical film "Silence" in 2016.
