The Horizon Award recognizes individuals from the private sector who have made significant contributions to improving opportunities for everyone Americans by their personal contributions and have set exemplary examples for children by their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was a wonderful player, and was grateful to be part of such a skilled and experienced group, practicing and playing hard when his Magnum schedule was able to allow it. .... Tom was very patient with all of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the massive crowds that replaced the small number of players' spouses and friends during the national tourney matches. ".
